Oh What Do You Do in the Winter Time...

When All the World is White?!

Do you help Dad shovel the 50 inches of snow that has accumulated in front of our home?

Do you fall back in the snow and find out you are too light to sink?

But you are too heavy to climb out?

So you just smile at the camera instead?

Do you build caves for the little ones to crawl into like igloos?

Do you play and scream "snow monster" like Carys?

Do you sled down the hills with a cool look on your face?

or have cute hot-chocolate mustaches?

Do you dig for dinos in rocks and build a T-Rex with other paleontologist friends?

Have a football party and stuff yourself sick?

Do you bowl strikes with your pals?

Or give Cam some tickles so he giggles?

Or decide you family/sister is fun to play with after all?

So Do I.

We were snowed in a lot this winter, but we also had tons of fun. Fun with friends. Fun with family. I think DC needs this sort of stalling tactic every so many years in order to restore balance to families and work-aholics. I am ready for the snow to be gone now, though. Bring on the sun! (Stay tuned for sunny FL post soon!)
